To tell the truth, lamination is a bit of a myth because 99% of the products on the market are based on a supposed increase in eyelash volume that no one had ever actually confirmed.

Well yes, InLei® was the first company in the world to take this step that literally shook up the industry. On July 4, 2017, after much research and development work, we received the official report with the Evaluation of the efficacy of the InLei® Lash Filler treatment, of which we want to share an excerpt with you today.

Test performance

The study was carried out in collaboration with a renowned scientific institute in Milan on 20 volunteers aged between 25 and 45 years, who underwent 3 sessions of the treatment - one per month for three consecutive months.

At each session, before and after the treatment, the laboratory operators acquired images of the participants' eyelashes using a HURIX RX 2000 3D digital microscope. Thanks to a specific analysis software, the images were processed in order to perform a very precise measurement of the diameter of each eyelash. Each measurement taken is the average of 5 lashes.

Measurements were taken at the following times:

T0: immediately before the first treatment session - starting value
T1: immediately after the first treatment session
T1': immediately before the second treatment session
T2: immediately after the second treatment session
T2’: immediately before the third treatment session
T3: immediately after the third treatment session

In addition, at the end of the study, volunteers were also asked to complete a questionnaire to assess their acceptability of the treatment, both in terms of its execution and their final perception.

Results

The results obtained from the test clearly show that at the end of the 3-session cycle there is an average increase in eyelash diameter of 24%. This is a statistically significant percentage.

As you can see from the graph, the hair undergoes a very evident thickening during the treatment.

Before arriving at the next treatment, the value is slightly lowered, but it never returns to the starting condition! The diameter of the hair is always thicker than the initial one.

We tracked the diameter of each individual volunteer during testing and the measurements can be seen in the table below. There was a thickening of hairs on each of them, which varies from one person to the other, but the average is an incredible 24% more volume.

In short, Lash Filler is much more than an ordinary eyelash lamination! It is not one of the millions of products on the market, it is an independent treatment based on real scientific confirmations and clinically proven statistical data.
