The curl revolution: the InLei® Forma Up shield
The amazing InLei® Forma Up shield is winning everyone's hearts with its legendary ability to create spectacular looks in no time. In this article you will find (almost 😅) everything you need to know about this innovation that stands out in the world of lash styling. Before we begin, please note the difference between the curl of the Forma shield and the curl of the Forma Up shield.
InLei® Forma
It creates a soft and attractive wave, although the lift is firm and the eye opening is sensual.
InLei® Forma Up
It creates a firm bend that almost looks like the “L” curl of eyelash extensions, but obviously does not create a right angle. It is a very smart angle, comfortable even with regrowth. Let's now go through it point by point.
1. Packaging and Range
You will find InLei® Forma Up in our exclusive silver package, along with the InLei® Forma classic shield. It is offered in one size (see point 3) and in two pairs: one with a glossy surface and the other with a matte surface, perfect for your Instagrammable creations!
2. Warning. This is not a beginner's shield!
InLei® Forma Up requires skill and dexterity, so it is highly recommended to practice with a few colleagues or a friend before experimenting with it on clients. Take the time to familiarize with its shape: it may seem complex at first, but once you master the technique it will become an essential tool in your lamimaker's cart.
If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with the Classic Forma shield. . If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with the Classic Forma shield. Practice at least 10 eyelash placements and/or full treatments to gain confidence with this type of shield. Only then can you move on to Forma Up.
Remember, however, that even with the latter you will have to practice thoroughly: do at least 10 more “try and dare” eyelash placements before suggesting it to your clients. Practice is the key to perfect results!

3. Adaptability
InLei® Forma Up (as well as the Classic Forma shield) adapts to every lash length giving a different effect on each type. For example, on short lashes it creates a rather pronounced curl in the central area of the lashes while on long lashes it lifts the roots. Impressive, isn't it ?!!
4. Balanced Curl
Be ready to achieve a very balanced “L-shaped” curvature. This is not a right angle, but a gentle bend that maintains a natural look even during eyelash regrowth.

InLei® Forma Up shield - 1 month after treatment
The client had medium length lashes cwith a fairly straight natural growth and with the outer corner tending downwards. As we can see from the picture the regrowth, which is often the biggest trouble spot for many clients, is perfect here!
However, there are also other important factors influencing regrowth to be considered:
- The condition of natural (initial) lashes
- The tension applied when placing lashes on the shield
- The correct position of the first solution
- The lashes aftercare at home by the client
All these elements play a key role in achieving optimal regrowth.. We guarantee you that if everything is performed as only TOP lamimakers know how to do, with the utmost precision, the result is AMAZING and and even in the long run the client will be completely satisfied!
5. Application Technique
For an optimal lift, make sure youfollow the “ light line ” of your lamp when applying the InLei® Form 1 perm solution, of course always maintaining a distance of 1-2 mm from the roots. The light line shows you exactly where the curl will come:it is the point where the light beam is interrupted by the highest part of the shield, and that is where the bend will occur. How extended you want the curl to be depends on how high you apply the product (toward you - working from behind the client).
