NEVER GIVE UP!
Everything is possible! Everything is possible! This has always been our motto. Man has been to the moon, couturiers dictate style around the world (despite they are humans like us) and Ferrari sells over 10 thousand cars a year even though we think "who can afford it?"
Nowadays we can do everything. An example that may seem trivial: despite the decisions of mother nature, we can choose to be curly or straight. And all this was created by a man or a woman! 😉

FROM PERM TO LAMINATION
A few years after our "success" (I'll put it in quotes) I would like to tell you in a simple way the path that led us to this point, sharing some of the many projects we have achieved.
Eyelash perm
The first attempts to curl eyelashes date back some twenty years, born from the chemical solutions for hair perming that began to spread in the 1970s.
What it consists of:
Curling eyelash through aggressive solutions, but with unique timing of their kind. In the first products there were several problems, both in terms of quality and stability of the formula (it was often either too strong or even not working). With time and the lack of success of the perm, the word BIO was born to revive the industry.

It is the same permanent as before but described in a better way.

Until a short time ago, there were no special dyes for eyelashes, so we had to use hair dyes with a percentage of hydrogen peroxide that nowadays is not even allowed for the eye area. The only alternative was not to dye the lashes at all, but on very light lashes, what's the point of curling them if you can't see them anyway?
Over the years the perm has been called Lash Lift, Lash Lifting, Lash Perm. Let's face it, the solutions for curling were slowly improving, but there have never been any products specifically designed eyelash and eyebrow hairs. In the year 2013 or 2014 the word "Lash lamination" appeared for the first time.

Finally, the field has started to take care of the health of our little hairs, crucial friends of our eyes. With the word lamination we have set ourselves the goal of thickening, nourishment, gentle coloring, shine, and a curvature that does not create damage! And at this point, I want to bring you to the very first sentence of this article....

Which idea? The creation of our own lamination treatment, something of superlative quality, the idea of creating an independent brand and producing in Italy. But the main idea was already dictated by the industry: thickening.
It was right here that we set ourselves a bizarre goal! We wondered: "what if we scientifically confirmed thickening?" No one before us had ever done this!

At the same time as the creation of the Lash Filler, the development of other products in the InLei® line began, based on a careful study of the needs of those who carry out eyelash lamination treatments every day.

An interesting fact: during the creation of the silicone shields we discovered a whole new world, there are things that you can only understand when you actually start working with silicone. I'll never forget the phrase that a true professional of the sector said to us: "working with liquid silicone and knowing how to work with liquid silicone are two completely different processes"... and we experienced this on our own skin!
- Look at the first version of the shields: high-quality silicone was already being used, but important processing steps were missing. Those who have had the opportunity to work on them will remember the huge tactile difference between the two versions. The second one, which became definitive, was born only thanks to the collaboration with professionals who had many more years of experience in this field. The results in terms of performance were visible from the first moment!
- Look at the first version of the shields: high-quality silicone was already being used, but important processing steps were missing. Those who have had the opportunity to work on them will remember the huge tactile difference between the two versions. The second one, which became definitive, was born only thanks to the collaboration with professionals who had many more years of experience in this field. The results in terms of performance were visible from the first moment!
- In addition to the many tests to find the correct formulation, for each product different graphics are also developed to create the primary and secondary packaging. A careful evaluation of the proposals is carried out until the final model is chosen. We deeply care about creating an appealing design: it is a direct image, which speaks for itself even when the functionality of that product is not explained in detail.
- Each of our projects starts with a blank sheet of paper and a handmade sketch directly from Tatiana. This is the initial draft of the TRIO bowl and one of the versions of the Helper (which has never been confirmed)... we have so many projects lie these ones in the office! For us it is crucial to visualize concretely what will become the final version and the drawing is the best way to have a complete perception.
In 2016 we finally started testing the first cosmetic formulations produced for us (and with us) by the best Italian laboratories. They were eyelash-specific products, guided by the European Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009 and created based on the demands of the lamimaker market around the world.
Not a product that suited our field, but something created specifically for our needs. Do you feel the importance of this difference?
